A few months ago in our blog, we wrote about doing the wardrobe shuffle as it related to winter versus spring/summer attire. Now that spring has finally arrived, at least in most parts of the country, it's time to re-shuffle your wardrobe.
As we suggested for fall and winter, it was time to put away the pastels and lighter colors that signify the spring/summer season. But now that we're in that season again, it's time to bring them out of hibernation and put them to work. While the basic colors of navy, gray, black and varying shades of tan or taupe in men's suits are pretty standard, pastel colored accessories such as pink, mauve, heliotrope (lavender), rose and yellow can really make them pop. And the bonus is that they're very complimentary to most skin tones. And the extra bonus is that the ladies love to see men who are confident enough in their masculinity to wear them. So what are you waiting for? The “Sultan of Style”, (yours truly) has spoken and ordained their wearing.
Until next time, stay well and always "notoriously" well dressed!
